Join us

We're always looking for new people to join the Corps, so if you're aged between 8 and 21 why not come and see if the City of Coventry Corps of Drums is for you.

What to expect

Rehearsals are held at Cheylesmore Community Centre, Coventry on Wednesday evenings, with rehearsals and engagements spanning across 42 weeks of the year. Being a member of the Corps involves a high level of commitment, but we do understand if you have other interests or a part-time job. If you are thinking of joining the Corps, please mention any regular commitments that you have so that we can discuss if the Corps is right for you.

What costs are involved?

To join the Corps it costs £10 per month and that includes all tuition and travel costs. When the Corps attends engagements, you would be expected to bring along your own spending money and a packed lunch if required.  There is also a £30 non-returnable fee required when you are issued with a uniform to cover our own costs.

How to find out more and join

If you would like to come and see for yourself what the Corps of Drums is like, please get in touch and we can arrange this. You can also have a look at the videos below to get a real idea of what it's like at the Coventry Corps of Drums and read more about some of our existing members here.

If you decide you would like to join, you and your parents (if you're under 18) would just need to come along and complete the relevant paperwork.
