The City of Coventry Corps of Drums has a great history. The band was formed in 1947, and over the years it has become one of the most respected youth marching bands in the UK.
The Corps has played for many people all over the UK, including the Royal Family, and overseas in France, Belgium, Germany,Luxembourg, Denmark, the Netherlands,Switzerland, Norway and the United States of America.
The staff and members of the Corps want the future to be just as good. We would like a new generation to join and have the fun and experiences that we have had in travelling and playing in locations throughout the UK and beyond.
Being a member of the Corps leads to a mix of musical talent, good friendships and experiences that you cannot find anywhere else.
The Corps is looking for boys and young men between 8 and 21 years to join the band. Full training will be given on how to march and to play either a drum or trumpet. Once you reach a reasonable standard you will be able to travel and play in the Corps.
